A love of different cultures, landscapes and languages has given me a wide-angle lens through which to express my decorating style. I offer full service project management and decorating services for residential spaces and hospitality interiors - lodges, guesthouses, B&Bs and boutique hotels.
Careers in African five-star lodges and print media have given me an eye and appetite for aesthetics. I appreciate a wide range of styles, but most of the spaces that resonate with me and that I create are biophilic and organic in design: natural design that embraces warm, natural, tactile and the textured - along with a fondness for real plants! I strive to create a correctly calibrated environment with integrity and authenticity.

THE DECORATING PROCESS
During our first appointment (complimentary, no matter how long) I will seek to understand your style preferences and assess the scope of work. We will also discuss budget. I need to get to know you! How do you want to feel when you enter the space? What is practical? Which current elements work and which don't? Which changes will make the biggest difference? Can we style the outside areas so that they follow the same storyline as the interiors?
One-pager
I email you a one-pager with images portraying what I believe your design direction should be.
Proposal
I submit a proposal to you. It will include visual design elements, major milestones and quotes.
Come to agreement
You decide whether to appoint me. We agree on a budget.
Feedback
We discuss back and forth to finetune final decisions so that you are entirely happy.
Design and costings
I liaise with suppliers. I take time with this to get the details right.
Ordering, receiving, installation
I take care of all the admin for you!
